DAY 1- Arrival in Tbilisi | Leisure Day
Welcome to Tbilisi! Upon arrival at Tbilisi International Airport, you’ll be transferred to your pre-booked hotel for check-in. Later, explore the city at your own leisure. You can visit places like Mtatsminda Park, or the Georgian National Museum. You can also go on a boat ride down the Mtkvari River and witness the attractions of Tbilisi from a different perspective.
DAY 2- Day Trip to Mtskheta | Old Tbilisi Walking Tour
Start your day with a visit to Mtskheta, Georgia's ancient capital. Explore iconic attractions like Jvari Monastery and Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, known for their cultural and spiritual significance. Later, transfer to the Chronicle of Georgia and enjoy scenic views. Further, embark on a walking tour of Old Tbilisi, starting at Europe Square, featuring a cable car ride to Narikala Fortress and the Mother of Georgia. Conclude the day by exploring Abano District and a walk along Rustaveli Avenue.
DAY 3- Day Trip to Kakheti Region | Wine Tasting Experience | Visit to Ujarma Castle
Today, embark on a scenic drive to the Kakheti Region, known as the "Cradle of Wine." En route, enjoy a stop at the village of Badiauri to taste freshly baked local bread and cheese. As you reach, visit KTW Winery for an immersive wine-tasting experience. Further, continue to the town of Sighnaghi, and visit the serene Bodbe Nunnery. Later, explore the Ujarma Castle, and learn about its historical significance before heading back to the hotel.
DAY 4- Day Trip to Gudauri | Visit to Gergeti Trinity Church
Begin your day by going for a tour of Gudauri from Tbilisi. Your first stop is the Ananuri Complex, an architectural gem, followed by the picturesque Jinvali Dam. Continue to Gudauri, where you’ll visit the Friendship Monument, an excellent viewpoint for breathtaking photos. Further, proceed to Kazbegi to take a 4x4 vehicle ride to the iconic Gergeti Trinity Church, nestled against the backdrop of the majestic Caucasus Mountains. Later, transfer back to your hotel for an overnight stay.
DAY 5- Departure Day
In the morning, check out of the hotel and get transferred to the Tbilisi International Airport to board your flight for an onward flight. This is where your trip comes to an end!
